2nd Onchan Manannan Cubs are working towards their Promise Challenge. As part of their Promise Challenge the Sixes & Seconders have to take an active part in the leadership of the Pack and run some games so the Cubs were split into 2 groups. The first group ran a cooking idea and we cooked bacon on the trangia’s in the Scout Hall then ran outside games including the new game Danish Longbottom. The second group decided that we should have some wide games down the Glen so at the meeting we all went down the Glen and played kick the bottle and the lollypop stick game, only the one Cub managed to get stuck in the mud and one of the Leaders had to pull him out. Well done for all those Sixers and Seconders who ran the meetings.
