On the evening of Saturday 1. May 2010, twenty-nine Scouts from 2nd Onchan’s Moddey Dhoo and Phoenix Scout Troops joined together to take part in a nine mile hike from the Scout Hall in Onchan. The route went from the Scout Hall down Groudle, up to Clay Head, down to Baldrine, up to Conrhenny down past the Clype Reservoir and back into Onchan. One group followed the route clockwise and the other anti clockwise and we all met up half way for a photo. Back at the Scout Hall in was hotdogs all round before settling down to watch a movie, which not many of the Scouts managed to stay awake for. In the morning everyone was served bacon baps before we had a game of Danish Long Ball after which the Scouts headed off back home.
