Easter Egg Hunt

On Sunday 21. March 2010, Tuesday Beavers & Manannan Cubs took part in a joint Easter Egg Hunt from the Scout Hall, walking through Molly Quirks Glen, through Groudle Glen and finishing at the Car park at the end of Groudle Glen.  Around twenty Beavers & Cubs took part in the Easter Egg Hunt, along the way 300 mini chocolate eggs were scattered through the glen for the Beavers and Cubs to find, also there was eggs hanging on the trees on the paths leading to the car park for the Beavers & Cubs to find once they found an egg they could exchange it for sweets at the end of the hike. 

During the hike the Beavers & Cubs completed 4 tasks, the first task was to find the balloons with the hidden letters on them and  unscramble them, the second task was to answer the questions which were wrote on cardboard eggs, the third task was a scavenger hunt and the final task was to compete in a egg & spoon race.  It was a good afternoon had by all involved and we look forward to doing more joint activities in the near future.
