Fourteen Cubs, five Leaders and several parents from 2nd Onchan took part in the Raad Ny Foillan Fun Challenge on the 13. September 2009. The weather was fantastic and very warm indeed which made the hike go even better, we all met at Castle Rushen High School, and walked to Pooylvaaish, then around the coast & finished at Scarlett Point. Along the way the Cubs worked towards their Map Readers Activity Badge, and used the compass to find points and used a map to find locations using a six grid map reference. Well done to all those who took part.
