Eleven Scouts from the Phoenix Troop and one Leader completed the fourth Section of the Raad Ny Foillan Challenge, which went from Peel to Port Erin on the 21. June 2009. Total distance walked was about 14 miles. The terrain was quite tough especially the climb up to the Summit of Cronk Ny Arrey Laa and the climb from Fleshwick to Bradda Head. The weather was damp and misty the whole day, while this kept the hikers cool, it at times obscured the views along the spectacular coastline. Everyone enjoyed an ice cream at the finish.
Two Scouts from the Moddey Dhoo Troop also completed this Section a week ago.
