11 Cubs from Manannan Pack & 11 Cubs from Snaefell Pack along with three Leaders went to Island Cub Scout Camp at St John’s over the weekend of 26th – 28th June 2009, we were joined  by 150 other Cubs from the other Packs across the Isle of Man.  On the Friday night we had a treasure hunt near Tynwald Hill and then it was back to the campsite for games of football before having hotdogs for supper then it was off to bed for the Cubs.  The following day the Onchan Cubs were up very early (5.45am!) playing football in the field and waking up all the other Cubs.  Activities for the day were making hovercrafts, making carts, recycling, blind fold trails, duck races, Manx Wild Life Trust scavenger hunts and a go on the climbing wall and crate climbing, it was then time for dinner after everyone had dinner it was time for the camp fire and then supper & bed.  The following Sunday was another early start and after tent inspection it was sports games throughout the morning.  It was then time to depart camp.  The weather was great throughout the weekend and was a very good camp indeed had by all.
