All Scouts and Explorer Scouts in the Group are invited to take part in a Day Hike which is taking place on Sunday 5. October 2008. We will be meeting at the Laxey Wheel Car Park for 10:00. The hike will take us up to the Snaefell Mines, before heading back to Laxey over the hills (click the image above for a map of the route). We will finish at the Laxey Wheel Car Park for 15:00. Distance is just under 8 miles, so a nice easy hike.
Everyone should wear suitable gear for hiking in (no jeans) together with hiking boots or stout shoes. Waterproofs, a packed lunch and hot drink should be carried in a suitable daysac.
