Orienteering Fundraiser

We have received the following information about an Orienteering Fundraiser:

You are invited to a Barbecue and Orienteering Competition to raise funds for four Scouts to visit Nepal in October / November to undertake charity work for underprivileged children at an Orphanage in Pokhara.

• When: Saturday 8th October 2011
• Time: 11.00 until 15.30 hours.
• Where: South Barrule Plantation.
• Meet:  At the car park. On the Shoulder Road, off the A3 above Foxdale, 300 yards on the left hand side.  Grid Ref: SC 275 766.
• Briefing:  At the car park for the Orienteering at 11.10 hours.
• Start: Staggered start from the car park at 11.30 hours.
• Finish:  Watertrough Park Cottage. Maps and course sheets will be provided.
• Barbecue: From 13.00 hours.
• Manhunt: (Optional) Briefing at 14.00 hours.
• Start: From 14.15 hours.
• Finish: 15.30 hours.
• Dress: Casual as you think fit. Strong footwear essential. Waterproofs advisable.
• Cost: £6 per person.
