Click on image for a larger version2nd  Onchan Manannan Pack & Snaefell Pack attended the Island Cub Scout Camp at St Johns over the 25. – 27. June 2010.  Both the 2nd Onchan Packs worked together over the weekend and camped out in 4 Patrol Tents. On the Friday evening once everyone had arrived, we had the Opening Ceremony, after this we all walked to the Arboretum to do some Orienteering and have a Wide Game that all the Cubs enjoyed.  It was then a quick walk back to the campsite for Hot Dogs before going to bed. Saturday activities consisted of tent pitching, shelter building, navigation work, woggle making, first aid and much more.  On the Saturday Evening we had a camp fire and a talk from the Search and Rescue Guys, after this there was a mass Danish Long Ball game then it was off to bed.  Sunday morning the Leaders managed to have a lie in until about 7.30am. Sunday activities consisted of having a sports day and taking down the Patrol Tents, the weather was fantastic throughout the weekend, which helped all those involved to have a good time.  Bring on next year’s Island Camp in 2011.
