The Sixers & Seconders attended a training weekend at Watertrough Cottage over the 3. – 4. July 2010. On the Saturday evening everyone arrived and after settling in we went on a walk up to the top of South Barrule, it was a nice gentle walk for the Cubs & Leaders so we made it to the top without struggling. We took a few photos and then headed back down South Barrule, when we got back to Watertrough, we played a few Wide Games in the plantation before making a camp fire and roasting marshmallows. On Sunday the Cubs were woken up to the smell of bacon baps, after breakfast the Cubs built a big Bivouac, played more Wide Games and did some rope work. We finished the weekend having a BBQ in the rain but all the Cubs had a good time.
