Manannan Pack Ardwhallin Camp

Click on image for larger version Over the weekend of 1st – 3rd May, 18 Cubs from Manannan Cub Scout Pack along with 4 leaders went to Ardwhallin Outdoor Pursuits Centre.  Everyone arrived at 7.30pm on Friday night the first activity was a walk up to St Luke’s church where we had to find the letterbox up there, after it was found it was a small walk back to Ardwhallin for a few wide games in the back field.  After everyone had ran around enough it was time for supper and bed.  Click on image for larger version The next morning was a very early start for the leaders, the Cubs were all talking and panicking about a spider in one of the rooms after the spider was removed it was time for breakfast.  Activities held during the day were team building exercises, a BBQ lunch, blindfold trails, bivouac building and a go on a wet assault course.  The day ended with someClick on image for larger version orienteering before a quiet night in front of the TV watching a movie.  Sunday all the Cubs were woken up to the fire alarm going off, one of the leaders was burning toast. Activities for the day included archery, low ropes and races on the Assault Course.  In the afternoon it was time to clear up Ardwhallin and make our way home.  Well done for everyone who attended, a very good camp indeed.
