The Group has been invited by Onchan District Commissioners, to take part in their Civic Sunday Parade & Church Service, which is taking place on Sunday 27. July 2008. All Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Leaders are asked to take part in the Parade and Service.
We will be meeting at the Youth & Community Centre Car Park (by the Scout Hall) for 14:05. Full uniform is to be worn, including school shoes. The Church Service is being held at St. Peters, from where Cubs and Scouts can be collected at about 15:45.
It is important that every Cub, Scout, Explorer and Leader make every effort to attend this Parade, to keep the Group’s profile high with the local community. we know some will be away on camp or holiday, so will not be able to attend.
