Snaefell for the Cup?

Snaefell Cub Scouts have been busy training for the Cub Scouts Five-a-Side Football Competition which is being held this coming Sunday. They are entering two teams and they will all be decked out in yellow and black kit.

Scouts at the MGP

Eleven Scouts from the Phoenix Troop have been working at the Scoreboards during the Manx Grand Prix Races this week. At the end of the week they will be presented with the special MGP Badge which is worn on the back of the Group Scarf.

Group Christmas Dinner

This years Group Christmas Dinner for Leaders, Adult Helpers, Committee members and their partners is being held at the Scout Hall on Saturday 1. December 2007. Further information will be going out soon.

Pig Race Night

Our very popular Pig Race Night this year is being held on the 5. October 2007. Tickets will be available at the start of the new term in early September.

New Traversing Wall

At long last our Traversing Wall has been built. Conceived when the new Hall was being built back in 2001/2002, lack of funds did not allow for the wall being built at the time. As a Centenary Project we decided that 2007 was the year that we should make every effort to have get the wall in place.

The Traversing Wall is now up and running and is proving very popular with all Sections within the Group.
